Bob Highlands III Born: February 7, 1951 Fort Sill, OK Spiritual Gifts: Teaching, Preaching. Leadership, Writing. Family: Wife-Patti Children: April & Ray Outlaw (Olympia, WA.) Aaron Highlands - United States Coast Guard - Puget Sound Andrew Highlands - Personal & Building Manager YMCA - Olympia, WA Education: 1975 Graduated Gulf-Coast Bible College B.S. in Bible/Theology. 2007 Graduate Anderson University School of Theology - Master of Theological Studies My First Job: Cooking burgers at Sandy's Swift and Thrift Hamburger Restaurant for 85 cents an hour. How I spend my days off: Barbecuing everything in site, and watching the Mariners, Seahawks, and Sonics lose while I work on my computer. I like to read a good book while watching 'Law and Order' reruns with my wife. Walking for exercise and time with my wife are high on my list of favorite things to do. How I became a Christian: I was brought to church by some friends in High School. Three years later I turned my life over to Jesus on July 5, 1971 at Boiling Springs state camp grounds during the Oklahoma Family Camp. Books I recommend: The Great Divorce by C. S. Current occupation: Manager of "Sharin Memories" a scrap booking and rubber stamp store in Olympia, WA. How I spend my days off: Scrap booking - When my son went away to college I got my own craft room. I also love to read. How I became a Christian: I grew up in a Christian home. I made a decision at an early age and have been a committed believer for as long as I can remember.

Hobbies: Volunteering for things I believe in, Gardening, and Learning new things. I love looking at the water. My favorite place is the beach at Seaside, Oregon. I know that God has a purpose for my life and I am just excited to see what is going to happen on my special journey. |

I was lucky to be born into a Christian family. I asked Christ into my life on Feb. 11 1974. I enjoy spending time with family and going to the beach.
